Well I'm actually in Long Island! Tomorrow will be our first day in the big city! We can't wait!! When we arrived we were picked up by my friend's (Rita) cousin. We headed back to their house, their house is amazing a long with their neighborhood! Long Island is so pretty...full of trees, the houses are huge, and people actually have yards! Hah.
Rita's family is nothing short of amazing! They are so unbelievably nice! They have 2 children and 4yr old adorable girl, and the cutest 2yr old boy ever! When we arrived we were welcomed by their children and some delicious NY style pizza which was perfect because I was starving from the 7hr flight.
We just hung out with the family, played with the kids and now everyone is alseep...but I can't seem to fall asleep. Maybe its all the excitement of me knowing I'm in New York??!!
The weather is supposed to be really hot tomorrow! It was definitely muggy today so we will see how I feel with the heat tomorrow. Thursday its supposed to rain but we have plans to go to a carnival here on long island.
I will try and post tomorrow, but I will more than likely be posting from my blackberry so just bare with me please :)
