Charlie the boston terrier

My friends bday is this coming friday, he is absolutely in love with his boston terrier Charlie so I thought how awesome would it be to make him a plush? I have never made a dog plush before, but I have to admit I am pretty happy with the turn out. eh? eh?

I am loving all the time I have now to make crafts and sew. Now I just need to pick up knitting and I will be set :) any tips, book recommendations, or you tube videos that are good for learning how? Let me know, I would greatly appreciate it!
